The Wadi Karak Dam has begun to overflow, and warnings have been issued about flash floods.

Arab Weather - The Wadi Karak Dam in Karak Governorate began to overflow on Sunday afternoon as a result of the low-pressure system, heavy rainfall, and the flow of valleys.

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation/Jordan Valley Authority warned on Sunday morning of the potential flooding of the Wadi Karak Dam as it nears its full storage capacity of two million cubic meters.

The authority called on citizens, farmers and residents in the areas below the Wadi Karak Dam, up to the southern Jordan Valley, to take the necessary precautions and comply with the instructions of the competent authorities.
